4. The work can also involve developing an app to track and control relevant costs that you can use over the web through a browser. The app will be tailored to meet your specific requirements. Web based apps help you avoid heavy initial payments for buying a software package. Instead, you pay a small amount per month for the actual usage.

5. I will also provide continuing remote, text-based support to implement the solutions if you desire it. The fee for this can be negotiated.

My Background

I am a chartered accountant with 50+ years of experience as accountant, auditor, software developer and small business consultant. You will find specific details on the About and Portfolio pages.

In all these roles, reviewing control systems was a key task. As accountant and applications developer, it also included going in depth into the systems, and developing more effective systems to achieve desired results.

The experience ranged from old paper-based records to on-site computer systems to modern cloud based applications.

Being still mentally alert, the insights from these experiences are still available to provide continuing services to small businesses.

I deliver services using PDF checklists, reviews, recommendations and step-by-step guides. The emphasis on text is because of two major reasons:

1. I have a profound hearing loss now and voice communications are impractical. On the other hand, I think I have gained expertise of real value to small businesses seeking high profitability.

2. Written communications tend to be more specific compared to voice communications, which can get quite chaotic. Voice messages are also not available for later reference, unless trouble is taken to record them.
